What do you have against the State of California anyway? We've agreed that decades of the lie of conservatism has placed California in an economically challenging situation but that's pretty common for all states right now.

And California is working to solve their problems just like all reasonable and rational people would. And have the advantages of multiple resources to accomplish bringing their financial house into order.

So yes they are going to have to raise taxes, just like we at the federal level are going to have to increase taxes and will in the very near future. But I fail to see what California ever did to you to make you so fearful, hateful, and hysterical about a state you apparently don't live in to carry on like this.

California has had more conservatives in power than liberals for decades. This is a mess of their making just like our national economy.

Also I do not support lots of things passed in California and think the majority of the people of the state have caused their own problems by believing the lie of conservatism as it is preached and practiced in this nation.

Those would include their budget process, their initiative process, and their three strikes and other draconian prison demands which has actually drained the state of their tax dollars.

As I've said many times now. You've already lost if you have to make up lies instead of addressing what's actually been said.

How much are they raising them now? They have to balance their budget don't they? What do you propose they do about their debt?

The Democratic Governor is working on both ends of making deep cuts in government spending as well as increasing revenue through taxes and fees fees is the only logical and rational solution.

And just for the record I've worked more in my lifetime than you probably ever will and don't feel the least bit guilty about being disabled because since employees can't sue employers in this state I was forced to work in unsafe work places for my family's economic survival.

I'm also not collecting anything I didn't already pay into. But you can bet I'm going to be fighting to keep Medicare, Medicade, and Social Security in government hands because we've just proven again we cannot trust the greed of the private sector.
